"Eat, and drink, and be merry," so did the dead Epicureans say.
"Bring out the San Mig Lights," is the word going around today!
Down one, down two, down the pitcher, bare yourself, display!
Or shoot! Whichever you choose, don't you snob the entree!
But watch that dartful eye that the King's damsel has taken.
Hasn't it yet come alive and left you a bit scared and shaken?
Aah! Shoot that bird, cook it, and serve it hot at T-Bar's den!
And shoot Jorgette, shoot Pat, it's "Shooter's Night," FPC friend!

Editors Comment: This shot was taken on the spot i presume, but how it came out. Looks like an Ad Photoshoot for me. The lighting effect is great and the illumination of the products is just perfect.

Editor's Comment: This photo has been much lauded and not to honor it here in FPC will be injustice. This photo has the elements of a true winner but its real appeal goes beyond the exceptional technical quality.
If a key element of succesful photography is good timing, then Lady Guinevere is a Rolex. Lady_Guinevere has managed to capture a moment in time when this owl stared in such a way that it seem to have a personality.
That look is priceless and this photo is now one of my favorites of favorites for a long time to come.

Editor's Comment: What is more appropriate to choose as one of the PoW!s but an aptly titled photo from the Club's recently held Christmas party dubbed "Shooter's Night," at Tiananmen Bar, Makati? This photo perfectly embodies the theme of the party in an unflattering fashion. However, it goes beyond the party to also signify one of the field's of Photography many members of the Club is passionate about--Glamour, Portrait or Fashion.
Ed also frames the subjects in a way that bare essentials are "left," i.e., the photog, the light, and the subject. There is not much "clutter" although the party was swarming with other photogs. It is also nice that although the model was looking away from the camera, enough profile of her face is captured to also "unhide" her expression. Add to that the harmony of colors washing the entire frame. The result is that this photo was like shot for the party's advertisement.
